9 Nanas, The

From MysteryWiki

The 9 Nanas were, by their own declaration (via the "Press" section on their website), a group of Southern women who "committed themselves to their sisterhood and making the world a better place for others" by, according to an article by Lori Weiss, stepping "in and anonymously pay a utility bill or buy some new clothes for the children" for a "widow or a single mom who needed a little help".[1]

Notes

  1. The Huffington Post should not be considered a definitive news source, given controversy (such as including articles about homeopathy) and accusations of bias (such as that in this statement by Jerry Newcombe), but for the purposes of this article, especially given Lori Weiss' credentials and the (apparent) non-political and non-scientific viewpoint of her article, is included.
