Operation Washtub

Operation Washtub was a covert joint operation between the United States Air Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during the Cold War. Its purpose was to ensure that there would be spies in the then-territory of Alaska, should the Soviet Union invade the territory.
